{"id":3023,"date":"2018-04-16T14:58:45","date_gmt":"2018-04-16T12:58:45","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.slavkocuruvijafondacija.rs\/?p=3023"},"modified":"2018-04-16T14:58:51","modified_gmt":"2018-04-16T12:58:51","slug":"aleksandar-vucic-and-sns-most-represented-on-daily-newspaper-frontpages","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.slavkocuruvijafondacija.rs\/en\/aleksandar-vucic-and-sns-most-represented-on-daily-newspaper-frontpages\/","title":{"rendered":"Aleksandar Vu\u010di\u0107 and SNS most represented on daily newspaper frontpages"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>February 13, 2018<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h2>In the first six weeks of the campaign for the local elections to be held in Belgrade on 4<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0March, the frontpages of daily newspapers have published the most positive articles about the representatives of the ruling Serbian Progressive Party (SNS) -245 \u2013 which is 70 more than all other participants in the election combined, according to analysis conducted by Transparency Serbia.<\/h2>\n<p>The highest number of appearances, 155 \u2013 of which 135 were in a positive context \u2013 has been recorded by Serbian President SNS leader Aleksandar Vu\u010di\u0107, whose name heads the SNS electoral list. Current mayor of Belgrade and councillor candidate Sini\u0161a Mali appeared 33 times in a positive context and was depicted negatively three times. In total, the\u00a0<strong>leader and candidates from the SNS list<\/strong>\u00a0have appeared on frontpages\u00a0<strong>283 times, 245 in a positive context<\/strong>\u00a0and 10 times with a neutral tone.<\/p>\n<p>Transparency Serbia\u2019s analysis shows that the remaining 23 electoral lists have a combined total of 173 appearances in a positive context.<\/p>\n<p>Ranked second in the number of frontpage appearances is the list of former Mayor Dragan \u0110ilas, who has appeared in around 110 reports, although 64 were in a negative context, 58 of which were published in tabloids.
