Students also began blocking faculties in response to attacks against street protestors by supporter and hooligan groups, which had been organised by representatives of the government.<\/p>\n
The student protest in front of national broadcaster Radio-Television Serbia was directly prompted by the false accusations of Serbian President Aleksandar Vu\u010di\u0107, who claimed during a public service broadcast that the students had been paid to protest.<\/p>\n
President Vu\u010di\u0107 subsequently stated that all student demands had been met, but the students themselves consider this claim to be false and have continued their protests nationwide across Serbia.
